Shany Electronics lanuches a new Hi-Res. Low-Lux Camera, MTC-8382HDN, in the Q4 2008. Adopted with 1/3" SONY Super HAD II CCD, the resolution hits 520TVL, and the minimum illumination reaches 0.08Lux. Thus, the camera provides a high image quality with a low-lux capability.

This Hi-Res Low-Lux Camera is built-in with the advanced DNR and Sense-up functions. The Dynamic Noise Reduction (DNR) technology can reduce noises from the images; the Sense-up capability helps to enhance the sensitivity and achieve an excellent low-light performance. Also, equipped with the digital Day/Night switching function, when the scene illumination is lower than 2 Lux, the camera switches automatically from Color Mode to B/W Mode to catch clear image in the night time. When the illumination is higher than 5 Lux, the camera regains from B/W Mode to Color Mode. The Day/Night switching function allows the camera to present brilliant images no matter in the daytime or at night.

MTC-8382HDN is special designed with a Mechanical Focus Adjustment, so users can use it to adjust back focus conveniently so as to ensure a clear surveillance video quality. Besides, excepting the Internal Synchronizing System, this camera also has Line-Lock function for the Synchronizing System, so this camera can be applied to professional surveillance applications easily. Furthermore, this camera is also equipped with AES, BLC, D&N, and S.AGC functions.
